WHY ARE VACCINES SO IMPORTANT ?

 We are so lucky to live in a country where vaccines are readily available to protect our babies from some horrible and life threatening disease. Unfortunately some mothers are choosing not to vaccinate due to lack of information and bad press from the media and social platforms. Baby Immunisation – Post Natal Clinic

Your babies 1st set of vaccines will be due at 8 weeks.  Mum can also book her post natal appointment at the same time.  

For babies 1st injections they need to be seen by the GP as well as the nurse. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment for the baby clinic.  

To register your new born we need a completed & signed HS123 form dropped into reception, you will get this form when you register your babies birth.  

Child Health Surveillance

Please contact surgery. Immunisations are due at 8, 12 & 16 weeks, 12/13 months and 3 years 4 months.  

We also off the flu vaccine yearly from 2 years until they start P1.
